Meet Ashley Wright, LPC, CSC
I was born and raised in Houston, TX, and have been an educator since 2008. I graduated from Sam Houston State University and currently serve as a certified school counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
My early years as an elementary classroom teacher revealed a deeper need—students were struggling not only academically but also with the challenges of home, school, and peer relationships. Inspired to reach more students in meaningful ways, I transitioned into school counseling, where I could connect with children both at school and in the community. In this role, I’ve been able to provide broader social-emotional support, equipping students with tools to build resilience and form stronger relationships.
My commitment to fostering inclusive and comprehensive educational programs has made a lasting impact on countless students, families, and educators nationwide. I was humbled to be recognized as the 2022 American School Counselor of the Year Finalist and the 2021 Texas School Counselor of the Year.
Today, I serve as a therapist, national speaker, author, educator, and advocate. I provide therapy services to individuals navigating life’s challenges while also equipping students, families, and educators to embrace diversity, strengthen self-esteem, build character, and maintain resilience.
